you wear your every last disguise

All Wrong and The Plans Change - Hey, Hey
This is a free download offered on their site. A very lovely down-tempo song, suited for a good day to listen to whilst reading at home or just chilling.

Annie - I Don't Like Your Band
Yet another solo electropop singer, but she's been around much longer than the likes of Lykke Li, Ladyhawke, Little Boots etc. So funky, she's prolly dissing somebody (in a particular band, or even the band itself) she knows.

Gregory & The Hawk - Boats and Birds
Gregory & The Hawk is mainly Meredith Godreau's solo project, collaborating quite often with her many musician friends. Very very very beautiful song, just like Grey Weather which I featured quite a while back. This song is basically her vocals plus guitar plucking and some bass - very stripped down.

"But you can set sail to the west if you want to
And past the horizon till I can't even see you"

Erin McCarley - Love, Save The Empty

BTW: Inch Chua's Christmas EP titled "Peace, Love & Mistletoe" is out on her site. Go get your hands on it right now! Lovely 4 track to listen to leading up to everybody's favourite holiday! And anyhow, congrats to Inch, she was invited to SXSW '10 at Austin, Texas.

you stood out, like knots on old, walked-on wood

All Wrong and the Plans Change - I Get Down
This song is so full of girlish sweetness. All Wrong and the Plans Change is essentially Kassia Conway on vocals, bass and acoustic, while best friend Amy Wood is on the drums. Like they say, along the way the plans (might) have changed, but the music keeps coming. That's the spirit girls, love your stuff! Visit their official site for a free download and more on them.

Beni - Maximus
The small little kid, I reckon not more than 6 years old?, has dope dance moves. Totally sweet.

Riot in Belgium - La Musique
It's a real riot!

The Black Atlantic - Walked-on Wood
The Black Atlantic is a Groningen (The Netherlands) based acoustic pop band formed around singer and songwriter Geert van der Velde, former frontman for American metalcore group Shai Hulud. Listening to them immediately brings to mind Bon Iver and The Antlers in terms of the sound, but Fleet Foxes when it comes to the multi-instrumentalism. Very beautiful song, and fitting that these songs from the album "Reverence for Fallen Trees" were recorded in a log cabin. Sounds familiar?
