they sit on an old grey porch and watch foxes play

Brazos - Day Glo
Sunny fetchy song that lifts my spirits. Upbeat and catchy as chirpy strumming on the guitars go with Martin Crane's lyrical inclinations.

Aeroplane feat. Kathy Diamond - Whispers (Original Mix)
Very danceable song, slow-groovish, really good.

OK Go - Wtf?
Doozy song set to a really whacky video. Are these guys trying to best themselves in the area of music videos? And right into the song, the lyrics exactly sums up what's going on in the video.

I've been trying to get my head around,
what the fuck is happening?
I'm trying to make some sense out of
what you're doing with my head.

The Saturday Mix #30

Bibio - Lover's Carvings (Leatherette Remix)
Peculiar and interesting. I'm still on the fence on this one, but leaning towards the good side.

The Sound of Arrows - Into the Clouds (Fear of Tigers Remix)
Sounds so slick. Keep moving to the beat, just keep moving! It should sit right in a Peter Pan soundtrack! The song is set to the 1985 film Explorers starring Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix.

Small Black - Despicable Dogs
This the the lo-fi that's been all the rage of late - hazy and nostalgic, and yeah, it's soooooo gooooooood.

Small Black - Despicable Dogs (Washed Out Remix)

Ellie Goulding - Under The Sheets (Pariah Remix)
Enjoy the bleeps and bloops. And the pretty cool video.

Lindstrøm & Christabelle - Baby Can't Stop (Idjut Boys Remix)
Pretty 60s jazzy feel.

The Saturday Mix #27

Cut Copy - Hearts on Fire (Aeroplane Remix)
This Belgian duo would be coming down for ZoukOut 2009.

The Big Pink - Too Young To Love (Delorean Remix)

Ellie Goulding - Under The Sheets (Jakwob Remix)

Crystal Fighters - I Love London (Qoso Remix)
There've been quite a number of remixes floating around on this awesome dance number and here's one by Qoso.

Florence & The Machine - You've Got The Love
Damn it, I totally missed out this song from her album "Lungs", very nice powerful sounding rock song. She's really got that voice don't you think? It stands out. Hmms, a bit like Beth Ditto. Only found out about it after hearing the remix, which is just as awesome.

Florence & The Machine - You've Got The Love (The xx Remix)
A remix by one of the most under-rated/understated acts of the year. But thing is, it sounds more like The xx covering this song, because throughout the remix, I can't seem to find traces of the original. If anyone can clarify if it's a remix or cover, please do get back to me.

Gossip - Heavy Cross (Siriusmo Dub)
This is a wicked Siriusmo putting his own spin on a Gossip song.
