and i like to play piano but it's often out of tune

30 Seconds To Mars - Kings & Queens
Pretty epic video, and an even more epic song. Seems like more bands are starting to use mass cyclists in their videos. This is from their 3rd studio album "This Is War", since 2005's "A Beautiful Lie".

Sun Airway - Swallowed By The Night(mp3)
Sun Airway is the new project from ex-A-Sides Patrick Marsciell and Jon Bathmus. Head down to their site for a free download of their lovely EP "Oh, Naoko".

Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You
Yeahhhh, I'd love to be just chilling on a good day with a loved one listening to good music, this song included. Stardust was a one-time musical collaborative effort consisting of producers Thomas Bangalter (from Daft Punk), Alan Braxe (worked quite a bit with Fred Falke), and vocalist Benjamin Diamond.

"i feel like the music sounds better with you/love might bring us back together"

Polly Scattergood - Please Don't Touch
Very cutesy feel good pop song. She looks a little like Anya Marina don't you think?

Flickerstick - Beautiful
this was from their very first album, Welcome Home the Astronauts. pity they have stopped playing, having played their last concert in Feb 09. enjoy this song.

Thrice - Red Sky

Thrice - Red Sky (Acoustic Live)
have a listen to both versions and decide for yourself which is better. i like both. the actual version has a really good chorus which can get intense, just your typical rock song, the acoustic version has that raw edge, unpolished, yet when you listen to the lyrics, everything sounds right.
"can you see the sky turn red
as morning's light breaks over me"

30 Seconds To Mars - A Beautiful Lie
forgive me, but i just had to put this really awesome song from this popular band up. i've made many playlists on my ipod, and this song has found it's way into many of them. also, since they have more or less confirmed the release of their new album in Oct 09 barring anything, let's just say this is to celebrate it.
