THIS MONTH: Fires in Snow and Miike is Friendly

This is my 100th post since I started this blog! It doesn't even feel like I've been doing this for more than 3 months. And somehow it coincided nicely with this month's end of month post. (I didn't plan this. Honest)

What this post would be about is 2 albums that I've been uncovering more about day by day. After finding out yet another song in the album that hooks me in line and sinker, there would be another song glittering under everything else, waiting to revel in it's full glory.

I hear that the Miike in their name was derived from Japanese director Takeshi Miike, that they are fans of his. For Miike Snow's self-titled album, Animal came out guns a blazing as the first single. (oh btw, this came out at the unusually sweet ending for the latest Gossip Girl episode. also, I think they got the singer wrong for Ready For The Floor which is by Hot Chip. They listed a female singer when the song obviously was sung by a guy.) These guys, Andrew Wyatt (who does the vocals and the songwriting) combined with the production of Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg (more known as Bloodshy & Avant and produced/wrote Britney Spear's Toxic and Piece of Me), spared nothing in their arsenal. There's the balladic and emotional Silvia contrasted with the heavy house beats present in In Search Of. I can't make head or tails of what A Horse Is Not A Home could mean, and the cryptic lyrics did nothing to help, but it is a pretty catchy number, though not the best they could muster. And one wonders what Miike Snow could be doing with a song on the affairs of the heart, but here they are with Cult Logic, wondering if somebody can free him from the logic of love that he knows. There are slow numbers like Faker - very pop-ish with the piano in the background and a tinkle of electronic, to the uber catchy buzz of Burial sang to the tune of morbidity.

A very pop-ish feel, with heavy electronic influences, it's reminiscent of a male version of La Roux, with a vocalist fronting the production. However, Miike Snow is(or are) Miike Snow, and it's hard to fault what Pontus and Christian are doing and Andrew doesn't let down either with meaningful (and a dose of huh?) lyrics not usually present in pop. But of course, the album isn't perfect, with a song like Plastic Jungle which sounded like a mish-mash of odd lyrics plus weird la-la-las. Like "sometimes i wanna get slain" and "I was choked by the jailor and fucked the gorilla." just throws you off kilter. A lot of people say they sound a bit like Passion Pit, but I think both are unique and have their own identities, and I love them both.

Next up is British group and Mercury Prize nominee, Friendly Fires, also with a self-titled album. Ed Macfarlane met bandmates Jack Savidge and Edd Gibson at St Albans School, said to be one of the oldest school in Europe.

First things first is their really arty cover. It's obviously something broken, but I really can't think of what it could be. The white stuff that seems to be scattering, immediately brings to mind the Skeleton Boy video, which by the way just oozes with catchy beats and trippiness. They seem to be going all ravey in the video. Suspiciously, Lovesick sounds very similar, even the lyrics are about love. What do you think? There's the obviously dance and remix friendly Jump In The Pool. Dance beats, check. Awesome chorus, check. Groovy melody, check. So there. Like Miike Snow(the album), there are songs that just don't fit. Maybe as a debut album, it's experimental on their part, but Photobooth has Macfarlane going so high(as in pitch) about a photobooth. Ditto On Board which sounds like something out of a drag show. But here, we have a saviour inParis. It makes me just wanna turn it on on the rooftops of an apartment (doesn't have to be in Paris), but preferably somewhere with an awesome night view under the stars, like in the song. Just dancing to it, or leaning over the parapet gazing out and over, even just lying down and watching the stars, see if they twinkle to the pulsing beat. And here I am wondering how they could make ooh-ooh-oohs sound good in Kiss of Life while Miike Snow just botch it with la-la-las. (ok it could get a little grating after repeated listens to the song - the ooh-ooh-oohs). White Diamonds is just unadulterated rock. While it doesn't culminate in a bang, it has the prerequisite chorus and highs and lows, not forgetting the hard drumbeats pounding behind.

Like what Edd Gibson notes: "The hardest thing I think is to know what to leave out, to know when something is enough." They nearly got that, except for a few ughs here and there, like Miike Snow, it's rolling as a debut. I particularly love these lines in Paris - "I'll find you that French boy/You'll find me that French girl", don't ask me why.

These two have put together really tight songs that just literally force your legs to start moving or sometimes pensive songs that want you still - just listening. Not forgetting the dearth of remixes for both album, I could leave them on for hours and maybe not finish one cycle.

And now essentially, I've actually done 2 album reviews in one post, but what I was looking to do was to just talk about them, which I realise the music has more than sufficiently done. Really look forward to their sophomore album. This marks the end of this post, but with these groups, it just heralds more for us music lovers.

X Factor UK #5 - while you wait on the answers

Picture's done by some guy called jonsibal. I think he does rendering on deviantart.

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Higher Than the Stars
Can TPoBPaH reach higher than the stars? I think they can, with a song like this.

shitfaced, fumbling in a dark place, drinking in the last days
this street looks just like the next street, bumblefuck on repeat

this time you should have stopped but where’s the fun?
the outcome, the only friend you ever had is setting off with a rich son

so sure she was like a brother ’til you dropped another
so sure you kept it under covers, until you knew you loved her

now you can’t think straight, because you’re not straight
in the back of her mothers car
no secret’s too safe, and how you can’t stay
in the back of her mother’s car

no secret’s too safe, and how you can’t stay
higher than the stars.

It's just barely audible lyrics, with accompaniment that nearly drowns it out. But that's what makes it all dreamy and lovely.

Grizzly Bear - While You Wait for the Others
This is definitely an acquired taste. Listened to it the first time and I didn't even get through the first minute. However, knowing Grizzly Bear, I decided to give it a few more listens, and voila, it found it's way into my system.

Milosh - Then It Happened
Pretty obvious it's homemade. The girl's face could be discerned at times. Brilliant idea for the song. "Ooh oh split me so perfectly" is juxtaposed with the perfect symmetry in the video.

OHH! X Factor UK's bootcamp has been out for 2 days and so here's the good stuff!

Lucie Jones singing Hurt by Christina Aguilera
Everybody's favourite I think. Well, the judges were smiling, but Simon agreed with what Cheryl said, about her not being able to do up tempo songs, whatever that is. And she couldn't possibly keep singing ballads every week as well.

Danyl Johnson with Holding Back The Years by Simply Red
Aww damn, my favourite to win, and I think he simply chose the wrong song that would really showcase his talents. Listen to him at his myspace and you'll know he can do a million times better than that.

Stacey Solomon and There You'll Be by Faith Hill
oh boy, yet another crowd favourite who failed to live up to the standard of their audition. She was visibly nervous and I guess that came with the expectations she's carrying after her auditions.

Jamie Archer singing With Or Without You by U2
Certainly he isn't the best singer on the field, but he's the one with no fear. Really. Where people are nervous, he conquers it. He's a born entertainer, and that's why people like him.

Olly Murs singing Elton John's Your Song
HAHAH! "He could sing Elton John in his sleep." Indeed a much safer performance, compared to Superstition.

ohh, and here's your FINAL 24. Let's roll.

I'm so glad Simon got the over-25s. So many of my favourites are in there. Hope they shine under him. "This could be a fantastic year for me, I mean them." HAHAHHA.

Dannii's reaction when she got the Girls was totally whack. She just kept going manic.

Bet the Boys loved it when they saw Cheryl Cole walk in. Who wouldn't?

Finally, it's the Groups left, with who else but Louis. Seems to me they weren't all too excited with him as their mentor. Oh well, let's see how things pan out shall we?

caught in a motion that i don't wanna stop

The Whitest Boy Alive - Burning
Electronic band TWBA's vocalist (and guitarist) Erlend Øye is also a member of Kings of Convenience. The other members are bassist Marcin Öz, Sebastian Maschat on drums, and Daniel Nentwig playing the Rhodes piano and Crumar. The Rhodes piano is an electromechanical musical instrument, a famous electric piano whilst the Crumar is a synthesiser.

Silversun Pickups - The Royal We
how many times do you wanna die/how many ways do you wanna die

ok honestly, i only intend to die once (or not die if it's possible). death is a very terrifying thing, and i've been caught off guard several times, suddenly thinking of what death could be like and how it could occur. and anyhow, if i die, i'd like to die in my sleep. thanks much.

Miike Snow - Black & Blue
I think Miike Snow's self-titled album is just pure gold. I can't believe I missed out on this totally slow-groove song which is making me go ape. Plus, there's a totally wicked official video (I think). a very old man with pretty old school music instruments and stuff, with his weird contraptions playing them. Seems to me he's all trapped up in his house (of his own volition), and all of a sudden he decides to make it out that door. And as he does so, he hugs a stunned teen, walks down the street, tosses his seemingly permanently on headphones and then sheds his bathrobe(?). All while Miike Snow are in the car watching him.

I won't waste your time with my revelation/Hello my friend, I see you're back again/Hello mystery, don't bother to explain

I can easily count 20 odd remixes of this album, probably with more to come. Hell, this is some gold everyone should be dancing to and listening to. Ok, hold on while I leave Black & Blue on repeat.

you're just a victim of circumstance

White Rabbits - The Plot
We had Scottish outfit Frightened Rabbits before, now another rabbit's here to stay. I present, White Rabbits!

Modest Mouse - The Whale Song
The mouse is bigger than the whale.

As Tall As Lions - Circles
I'm beginning to see something.

Noah and The Whale - Shape Of My Heart
for your heart is like a flower as it grows/and it's the rain, not just the sun that helps it bloom/and you don't know how it feels to be alive/until you know how it feels to die

noah and the whale are just unique. can they be classified under a single genre? i don't know really. but can we love them? hell yeah!

so what do you see in this post? 1 chance only.

THE ANIMAL POST!

The Saturday Mix #18 - when the sun is drowned in a deathly sea

Phoenix - Lisztomania (Classixx Mix)
Classixx doing a mix on an awesome track from a fantastic album. Sweet stuff.

Shiny Toy Guns - You Are The One

Shiny Toy Guns - You Are The One (Gabriel & Dresden Mix)

White Lies - Death (Chase & Status Remix)
Very very interesting remix. Slightly slower beat than the actual song and there's a plucking instrument in the background of sorts.

Au Revoir Simone - Another Likely Story (Aeroplane Remix)

The xx - Basic Space
A really up and coming English dream pop/electronic group.

The xx - Basic Space (Pariah Remix)
The video it plays to is really fetching. It fits it pretty well. It's the movie "Vivre Sa Vie" by Jean-Luc Godard.

X Factor UK #4 - a light hits the gloom on the gray

Passion Pit - I've Got Your Number
Less polished than their newer numbers, but shows how good they are nonetheless. It was prolly just a stepping stone to the success "Manners" is having right now.

have you seen me cryyyy/tears like diamonds

The Rifles - I Could Never Lie

And here's updates on X Factor UK!

Daniel Pearce singing Seal's Kiss From A Rose
he's so damn bloody good. but that's to be expected from someone who was from the boyband One True Voice, formed at the same time as Girls Aloud (of which Cheryl Cole is from, and is also one of the judges currently). However they disbanded, and he's here trying again. Put in just the right amount of emotion into the song, totally nailed it (in Simon's words). But it's a little unfair to the other contestants no?

Dominic Harris with Chris Brown's With You
He's got a pretty good voice, but somehow I feel R&B has a limited appeal in such a competition. Maybe it's just me.

Scott James with You Raise Me Up
He sang it with such passion, and this coming from a guy who's autistic and worked up immense courage to try for the auditions. Incredible. Very strong voice. Hope he goes far.

Amie Buck sings I'll Stand By You by Girls Aloud
She was given a second chance by Louis, and sang this song. She forgot some of the lyrics, but Cheryl Cole, ever the sweet one, chips in with some help and support. It's a damn feel good situation. Could hone her voice a bit more, and maybe she'll go far.

Curtis Moore singing Mario's Let Me Love You
He did some jail time, but found new direction - music. Simon likes him a lot, but he's got some attitude that he needs to change. I guess that comes with the age, he's only 16.

Simon: How do you think you did?
Curtis: Best I could have done.
Simon: Which is?
Curtis: What I just did.

It was pretty funny, but maybe it's the way he said it. hahah, I guess it doesn't go well with some people (particularly Simon).

omfg, i just found out Danyl Johnson, of Audition 1 has a band with his friend Nick Burrage. Check them out at their myspace. His voice is damn bloody good. I'm dead serious. Check them out now. I particularly love Beautiful Life and Give Me Your Hand.

well i am sure i could steer the great salt lake

Marshmallow Test for Kids
spotted this video under youtube's "Videos Being Watched Now". So damn hilarious and cute.

jj - Ecstacy
This is dope, pun intended.

The Clientele - House On Fire

Band of Horses - The Great Salt Lake
The video features slowpitch softball! Sweet song.

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

you've convinced yourself the book is never wrong

As Tall As Lions - In Case of Rapture
As Tall As Giraffes sounds logical, but As Tall As Lions is plain ingenious. Love their songs. by the way, did they derive their song title from some christian thing or sorts? it seems familiar, anyone can help?

The Dutchess and the Duke - Hands
They bring to mind Fleet Foxes and Shearwater. This duo, Jesse Lortz and Kimberly Morrison are ready to blossom with the follow-up to their debut album, with confidence stemming from extensive touring throughout 2008 in support of their debut, "She’s the Dutchess, He’s the Duke."

Onerepublic - Come Home

The Radio Dept. - David(mp3)

six days at the bottom of the ocean

Explosions in the Sky - Your Hand In Mine
I started watching Friday Night Lights recently, and I must say I really like it. It explores real life issues that the average person faces, using football as the background. Emotionally charged, thought provoking, why the decisions are made as such, the wrong decisions leading to changed lives etc. It is exactly what this song (which is without words by the way) tries to evoke, and does so brilliantly as the opening theme song. Really wonderful job. I am enamoured. Enamoured with the show. With the song.

Explosions in the Sky - A Song for Our Fathers
I realised that they do a lot of instrumentals. And really affecting you down to the bone. It gets so intense at times, I wonder how they actually find so much intense emotions to put into these songs.

Explosions in the Sky - First Breath After Coma

Explosions in the Sky - Have You Passed Through This Night?

I've decided I really like them, it's something I can leave on repeat, doing some thinking, or doing nothing at all. letting emotions wash all over me, or just letting the music drown me. They are awesome. Just found out that they are actually an instrumental group, works just as well for me.

Monday, September 21, 2009

maybe one day I could be one of them

Phoenix - Lisztomania
I'm thinking that they actually got the track name from Lisztomania, which is a 1975 film by Ken Russell, drawn from a biography of Franz Liszt. Apparently, the term "Lisztomania" was coined by the German romantic literary figure Heinrich Heine to describe the massive public response to Liszt's virtuosic piano performances. At these performances, there were allegedly screaming women, and the audience was sometimes limited to standing room only. Must have been quite the charmer, this Franz Liszt.

M83 - Couleurs

M83 - Graveyard Girl
These were the first and second singles released for their(his) 5th album, "Saturdays = Youth", respectively. Why his, it's because all that's left is Anthony Gonzalez, as former member Nicolas Fromageau parted ways around 2005.

Friday, September 18, 2009

by then I'd stopped looking for my way out

Oh what a rainy day. It's not a downpour, nor is it a drizzle. It's just right. I could get into the rain and start dancing right now. The patter of the rain on the ground, the shush shush of the rain drops against each other.

Lykke Li - Little Bit
Did I mention she's swedish? haha!

School Of Seven Bells - Face To Face On High Places

Camera Obscura - Tears For Affairs

Here's some ambient music for sampling. And a little nugget. The following two artists are signed on to the same label as School of Seven Bells.
10:32 - Blue Little

Ben Benjamin - Squirmy Sign Language
I like it until about 2:10, before it just sort of spirals downward into random drumbeats and really odd sounds, nothing unlike what you got before the 2:10.

X Factor UK #3 - in llama land there's a one man band

Mika - Happy Ending
I'm surprised I didnt get to hear this when Mika's debut album first came out. I think this song showcased his vocals better than his other songs such as Love Today and Big Girls. Also, his new album "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" is supposed to be released on 21 Sept.

Snow Patrol - You Could Be Happy

Here's the next update on X Factor UK. We've got someone who auditioned last season (and now Simon thinks they made a big mistake booting him out quite early), a loving sister (her family stays in a council home and she wants a better life for her younger sister), the total package (he can sing, he can dance, he's pretty good looking) and the coolest old man on earth.

Olly Murs singing Stevie Wonder's Superstition
Nice name, and man this guy can rival Danyl Johnson's voice and Jamie Afro's stage presence/personality. And he's got the mooooovvvveeeess.
Simon: "I really really like you. You're very very very very cool." Wow. He was generous eh. "This is the easiest yes I've given"

Rikki Loney singing Otis Reading's These Arms of Mine
heavy scottish accent actually works well for him.

Shanna Goodhead singing Songbird by Eva Cassidy
Dannii has a GINORMOUS ring btw.

William Hooper with Frank Sinatra's Come Fly Wth Me
this is the awesomest old man i've ever seen. he's so funky.

in case of rapture

St. Vincent - Actor Out Of Work
You're a liar and that's the truth/You're an extra, lost in the scene

very interesting lyrics indeed. the video was very artfully done, wonderful. the last part where the man suddenly stops crying totally capped the whole video sweetly.

St. Vincent is essentially Annie Clark, and Annie Clark herself. She cut her second album "Actor", from which this song was taken from.

St. Vincent - Laughing With a Mouth of Blood
Ok, to me, this song probably isn't the best she has out there, but the lyrics certainly struck me as sharp and telling a story. Maybe after a few listens, one may start to like it, but what took to me was the lyrics! from what it seems, it's about an abused wife, running away, and trading everything she has, for less. (or more, so to speak)

As Tall As Lions - Maybe I'm Just Tired

Magic Wands - Kiss Me Dead

Monday, September 14, 2009

and bonfires lit up the shore

The Clientele - Bookshop Casanova

Blue Foundation - Bonfires
This Danish band is probably more known for their song, Eyes On Fire which came on in Twilight(I'm pretty sure everybody has at least heard of this). Pretty sure you can hear the string instruments in the background, which make good accompaniment.

Blue Foundation - Eyes On Fire
Well, the song is nice so I have to post it and not because it came out in Twilight.

Beach House - Used To Be
Another band with music most put in the dream-pop genre. Indeed it's pretty dreamy and lazy-ish. The slow beats, so soothing and it slowly wraps you up and comforts you.

Sunday, September 13, 2009

and the beauty of the word is that you don't have to show it

watched Moon yesterday. It stars Sam Rockwell as Sam Bell (the protagonist(s)), if you watched it already) and Kevin Spacey voicing GERTY, an autonomous robot aiding Sam in the day to day running of the lunar station. I probably won't do justice to the film by trying to describe it, but it was poignant and reflective. One wonders at the end of the film, if in the future, would companies actually resort to such methods all in the name of profits and capitalism. What I loved most was the direction of the movie by Duncan Jones, and the accompanying piano scores totally complemented the movie at it's various peaks. It did well to evoke the desolation Sam probably felt, and his devastation on realising the truth upon speaking with his daughter (who did not recognise him). Catch it if you haven't, and you won't regret it.

official site, imdb

and back to the muzak.

Dragonette - Pick Up The Phone
dragonette - they never seem to have a lack of breezy flippant videos.

Belle & Sebastian - We Rule The School
Their brand of slow and wistful music is totally dope. They're a SEVEN member band, prolly the only band who has more than them (in numbers) is Broken Social Scene i think. They consist of Stuart Murdoch, Stevie Jackson, Chris Geddes, Richard Colburn, Sarah Martin, Mick Cooke and Bobby Kildea.

Sia - Academia

The Sound of Arrows - Into The Clouds
oh.my.god. this is really aural ecstacy. you really can count on them swedish people to produce top notch music.

The Saturday Mix #16

Faunts - Feel.Love.Thinking.Of (Mexican with Guns Remix)
I love both versions of the song, the original being slower and makes you want to sink into the song, with the remix being trippier and slow-groove.

The Raveonettes - Last Dance
oh sweet boy. if their new album is anything like Suicide and Last Dance, I'm so gonna love it. There's a bit of that electronic, groovy beats and mainstream-ish lyrics. Awesome.

Burns - Teknique

deadmau5 & Kaskade - I Remember (Caspa Remix)

Fever Ray - If I Had A Heart (Familjen Remix)
Yet another remix from the plethora of Fever Ray remixes out there, and I must say it's pretty well done. Gives the song a bit of buzz.

Gossip - Love Long Distance

Gossip - Love Long Distance (Fake Blood Remix)

Friday, September 11, 2009

lost and down so fragile inside

Faunts - It Hurts Me All The Time
They hail from Alberta, Canada and are Paul Arnush on drums, Rob Batke playing the keyboard, Steven and Tim Batke providing the vocals and guitar, lastly Scott Gallant on bass. Lastly I'd recommend anybody who missed out on Feel.Love.Thinking.Of to actually go check it out.

Civil Twilight - Letters From The Sky

The Sounds - Dorchester Hotel
If you're wondering what and where's Dorchester Hotel, it is a leading luxury hotel in London, overlooking Hyde Park. It has a reputation for providing hospitality for the rich and famous.

attached but you're feeling alone/the addiction will never be gone

The Antlers - Sylvia
So haunting at the beginning before it suddenly explodes with emotion as they sing "Go back to screaming, and cursing/Remind me again how everyone betrayed you"

Elizabeth & the Catapult - Taller Children
quirky and cute song. repeating "in the end we're all just taller children" several times over.

Thursday, September 10, 2009

X Factor UK #2 - the men who stare at goats

from left, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh.

Au Revoir Simone - Another Likely Story
One of my favouritest bands, or i'd actually rather call them a group. Yet another lovely song by them.

it gets harder/I remember to remember/waking up again all over again

Black Eyes Peas - I Gotta Feeling
They're coming here for F1 Rocks! and bring the house down.

Some updates on UK X Factor which I'm following. Pretty girl and cute boy.

Lucie Jones singing Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You
Really effusive praise from Simon. And I need to reiterate the fact that Cheryl Cole has a really really hot accent.

Lloyd Daniels singing I'm Yours and I'm not sure about the second song, which got him through

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

we live half in the day time, and half at night

The Black Atlantic - The Good Forecast(mp3)
Download this song. Pretty nice and slow.

Simian Mobile Disco - I Believe
I Believe was from the album "Attack Decay Sustain Release", which came out before "Temporary Pleasure". For those who are interested/curious, that album title was derived from the ADSR (attack-decay-sustain-release) envelope. It is a component of many synthesizers, samplers, and other electronic musical instruments. Its function is to modulate some aspect of the instrument's sound — often its loudness — over time. The envelope may be a discrete circuit or module (in the case of analog devices), or implemented as part of the unit's software (in the case of digital devices). (Info obtained from wiki). I guess it was a pretty aptly titled album, seeing how they use quite a number of electronic instruments.

The xx - VCR
I think we're superstars/ you say you think we are the best thing

Islands - Vapours
These are the guys who brought you Creeper.

The Saturday Mix #15 - misery is all we know lately, saturdays are all the same

Friendly Fires - Paris
Our friendly band Friendly Fires (ok poor pun, but whatever!) brings us yet another song, Paris. These guys here have been nominated for this year's Mercury Prize. More notable winners have been Portishead (1995), PJ Harvey(2001), Franz Ferdinand (2004), Arctic Monkeys (2006), Elbow (2008).

So go and pack your bags/For the long haul/We're gonna lose ourselves

Friendly Fires - Paris ft. Au Revoir Simone (Aeroplane Remix)
A bit house sounding, but really chill.

Au Revoir Simone - Shadows (The Teenagers Remix)

Simian Mobile Disco - Cruel Intentions (feat. Beth Ditto)
SMD with another listing from TEMPORARY PLEASURE. I beg to differ, it is totally not temporary at all.

The xx - Crystalised

Miike Snow - Burial

Miike Snow - Burial (DJ Mehdi Remix)

Friday, September 4, 2009

the single white tree in a black hood of disguise

YACHT - See A Penny (Pick It Up)(mp3)
This song is from the guys who brought you Summer Song. Not as good as the previous, but I like it nonetheless.

Brooke Waggoner - Fresh Pair of Eyes
She's joined my list of favourite female singer/songwriters.

Oren Lavie - Her Morning Elegance
Seems like a viral hit to me. Prolly due to the stop motion video. Pretty lovely song accompanying an awesome video.

Something totally random, but this video for the Schweppes Short Film Festival was really well done. Love awesome advertisements.

WATCH HERE NOW.

Such a fantastic video. Watch the entire 12 minutes and trust me, you won't be let down.

some partied heavier than others, a hazard of imbibing the juice of the vine...

...which has taken most of us at one time or another.

Grizzly Bear - Knife

Memory Tapes - Bicycle(mp3)
Right click etc etc. I love the upbeat rhythm that is surely to make you feel good, and groovy.

The Skygreen Leopards - Dixie Cups in the Dead Grass(mp3)
