X Factor UK #7

Rachel Adedeji singing Let Me Entertain You by Robbie Williams
Very very strong opening performance. That was some good choreography and she did very well to cope with that, on top of singing live.

Olly Murs performing She's The One by Robbie Williams
Second Robbie Williams song! He's got a green tongue! Must have been some sweet he ate. Anyhow, very nice rendition of the song. Quite good looking guy, singing his heart out. None too shabby.

Danyl Johnson singing Jennifer Hudson's And I Am Telling You
This is the performance everyone has been waiting and expecting from him. If only he had done this in the earlier two instances, instead of putting himself in such a precarious position. Impressive vocals, good range. And my, he nearly destroyed the microphone stand. Omg, Dannii and Simon "fighting" hahahah.

Jamie Archer with T.Rex's Bang A Gong (Get It On)
This is the second standing ovation Simon has given today. Hmms. And it's weird hearing Louis getting the boos. It's usually Simon. Louis starting to give the technical comments. HHAHAHA, and now Simon vs. Louis. Getting interesting here.

"Simon, you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about rock!"

Stacey Soloman with Coldplay's The Scientist
It's like praises galore. Everybody was gushing over her. Her personality, getting out of her comfort zone, her vocals. But what's most striking is her innocence and genuine-ness (what better word can I use? it sounds weird) She and Lucie Jones stand out the most. Which brings us to the next performance.

Stacey Soloman singing Footprints in the Sand by Leona Lewis
The coincidental thing is Simon wrote this song. And yes, Leona Lewis was a winner of Season 3, under Simon's stead. No doubt she will be drawing comparisons with Leona Lewis, it's inevitable. That said, she, and quite a number of other contestants, are still having the nerves. Stacey as well. They need to conquer that, which is why they should get lessons on confidence from Jamie Archer, though Cheryl says she can still see a bit of the lack of faith in himself, in his eyes.

The results for the first round.
I'm pretty surprised that Rachel was in the bottom two. There's so many more acts that should have been down there instead of her.
